The BaBylissPRO Rapido 2.0 is the next generation of the Rapido, rebuilt smaller and lighter without giving up power. The barrel is 24% smaller and the body 20% shorter than the original, which tightens up the airflow for more concentrated, controlled drying and makes the dryer easier to handle at awkward angles.
A digital high-speed brushless DC motor spins up to 95,000 RPM behind 2000 watts of power, pushing enough air for up to 50% faster drying. The heater has been redesigned for more consistent output, and ionic technology cuts static and frizz for a smoother, shinier finish. The whole dryer still weighs under a pound.
Ergonomics are built for salon use: rocker switches sit where your fingers naturally land, and the magnetic rear filter pops off for cleaning between clients. As a safety feature, the dryer automatically shuts off when the filter is removed. The 9-foot cord gives full range around the chair.
Four attachments are included, covering straightening, curls, and precision work: a twist-on straightening comb, a twist-on extra-large diffuser, and snap-on small and large concentrator nozzles, both with cool-to-the-touch sides.
